In these formative years, at Dehradun Hills Academy, we prioritize laying the groundwork for responsible citizenship. Our focus extends beyond academic excellence to nurturing qualities of kindness, respect, and empathy in our students—essential virtues that foster meaningful connections with others. We believe that these values are best learned through firsthand experiences rather than mere discussion.
Twice a year, on the auspicious occasion of Navratras, our school organizes Community Support Day. During this event, students from the boarding house, along with their teachers and support staff, come together to prepare meals infused with pure love and devotion. This collective effort not only strengthens bonds within our school community but also instills a sense of responsibility and compassion in our students as they contribute to serving others.
Following our recent Community Service Day on the auspicious occasion of Ram Navmi, held on the 17th of April. On this special day, our school community came together once again to prepare meals for nearly 200 people, extending our acts of kindness and service to the wider community.
Through these initiatives, we aim to nurture a spirit of altruism and social responsibility in our students, empowering them to make positive contributions to society.
