Parents are like a precious gift from the world to us. They love us so much and are super important in our lives. They always worry about us and want the best for us. Our parents are our first teachers, showing us how to do everything from eating and talking to writing and walking.

On Parents' Day, we get to celebrate our moms and dads and think about all the cool
things they've taught us. It's crazy to think that while other people might just see us as
regular kids, to our parents, we're their whole world! They're always thinking about our
future and trying to give us the best life possible.

I feel really lucky to have my parents because I know some kids don't have them. That
must be really hard, especially on days like Parents' Day. If we have parents who love
us, we should be thankful and show them we care every day, not just on special
occasions.
This year, we celebrated Parents' Day on July 20, 2024. All the Boarders celebrated the
day with great joy. Our notice board looked amazing with all the decorations! Naveen Sir
also told us some cool stories about why parents are so important. It made me think
about how much my parents do for me. We got to draw pictures, write poems, and give
speeches about our parents. It was fun to share how much we love them. We helped
each other with poem and speeches which we had prepared.

Parents' Day reminds us of all the support and love our parents give us. It's a special
time to say thanks for everything they do. I think we should always try our best to make
our parents proud and tell them how much they mean to us.
Celebrating with my friends and teachers made the day even more special. It was nice
to see everyone talking about their families. Parents' Day helped me remember how
lucky I am and how important family is.
I hope we keep having fun celebrations like this. It's a great way to show our parents we
care and to remember all the amazing things they do for us every day. Our parents are
away but they will always remain close to our hearts, we do value that they have sent us here at DDHA to become better children to them and even better citizens. Love you Mom and Dad!!
