Celebrating Mothers from Afar; A Boarding School Perspective: Dehradun Hills Academy Students Honor Their Moms on Mother's Day

Mother's Day is a special occasion when we think about our mommies and how much we love them. This year, I celebrated Mother's Day at my boarding school, Dehradun Hills Academy. Even though I'm far from home, I still made the day special for my mom.

Mother's Day is a special occasion when we think about our mommies and how much we love them. This year, I celebrated Mother's Day at my boarding school, Dehradun Hills Academy. Even though I'm far from home, I still made the day special for my mom.  

My mother is very kind and lovely. She's my first teacher and my first friend. I miss her a lot while I'm at school, but I know she's always thinking of me. She takes good care of me when I'm home and always motivates me to do my best.  

Even though I couldn't be with my mom on this special day, I thought about all the nice things she does for me. She makes yummy food when I'm home, helps me with my studies, and gives me warm hugs when I'm sad.  

Mother's Day reminds me how lucky I am to have such a wonderful mom. It's one of the happiest days of the year for me, even at boarding school. I can't wait to see her again and give her a big hug!  

I love my mom very much, and I'm thankful for everything she does for me. Happy Mother's Day to all the moms in the world!
